One thing I learnt about the dress
And among so many people I asked, I forgot to ask the one who’d opinions should matter most: my husband-to-be.
His answer made me very happy. And I should now declare that I have ended my search for THE dress. I didn’t find it, or it wasn’t within my budget so I’ll stick with my best option.
I am happy. :)

Of green apples and all the things that curse my...
We had dinner at his place just two days ago and I left my retainers on his table.
And I had to be stubborn and eat my daily green apples that’ll definitely hurt my teeth. I just don’t care.

The first day of Autumn in Paris

I am such a nerd

A weekend in London
I AM BACK!!
You know what? Setting foot in London has never made me feel this way: I am more grateful for Cambridge than ever! No wonder Cambridge is UK’s 2nd most popular choice of residence after London.
Please don’t get me wrong, I heart London. Who doesn’t? The Underground experience is the best and my best buy is the Oyster card. haha! But seriously, I am such a city girl....
Croquet
I finally played croquet today! Not with a pink flamingo as a mallard or a sleepy hedgehog as a ball but this is REALLY a very nice and posh game.
You could have long conversations in between, have fancy drinks, wear WHATEVER you like and play it whichever way you like to.

Cycling around Cambridge
The best things to do in Cambridge apart from punting must be cycling :) And that’s what Jessie and I decided to do yesterday while Grace, Jessica and Kwong are having a great time in Amsterdam.
On the way to hire our bikes (only £6 for 4 hours!) at Fen Causeway, we saw these:

So we did all the touristy things, we ploughed through our assignments and guess what? Still not done! Please don’t think we’ve been partying and drinking every night because Cambridge “has no life” :p LOL! Everything shuts down by 6pm latest!

Just when you think God doesn't speak to you...
After 4 days in Lake District and 3 days in Newcastle, Grace and I are finally “home” at Driffield. It was awful not having to check my email especially there are some work related emails that I must keep track of as I’m away. And it’s needless to say that, for me, staying away from technology has been really difficult.

Grace and I have finally arrived at London. Well, we are now in Driffield to be exact and that’s where my Uncle Dave and Aunty stays!

Somedays you’re just thrown lemons at and no one told you you’re already in the game of sour lemons dodge ball. Which clearly explains why you can’t dodge because how can you when you didn’t even see it coming?!

So, you wanna bake a cake :)
This delicious Victoria Sponge Cake recipe is taken from frame>by>frame baking by Love Food. It’s a very simple, fuss-free and light cake. If you’d like something more elaborate, or want to experiment cakes with different types of fruits and cream/cheese, BBC Good Food has very good recipes of many which I have tried and worked exceptionally well. :)
